If you want a juicy burger with real meat and freshly fried fries, Baba Slim is the place for you. First of all there is the food itself. At least the best burger I have ever eaten. It goes without saying that the meat is halal. The fact that the food is freshly prepared and that the burgers are made of 100 percent beef is not the case in many fast food shops - even in the world-famous burger chains. On the burger is everything that should be on it: Onions, tomatoes, cheese, iceberg lettuce, ketchup... simple but full of flavor and also the fries are really crispy and tasty. Everything ist home-made not packaged in plastic and deep-frozen. What pleasantly stands out is that the burger shop is managed by a young and motivated team. Young people who not only take care of the cleanliness in food preparation, but also to cleanliness of the shop. Something, that rarely found anywhere else in the world, you will find right here. A small but very fine detail - a disinfectant dispenser. It is fixed on a pillar of the shop, placed in a way that everyone can see and use it. Especially after going to the toilet and before eating. The small toilet is clean, the soap dispenser and the toilet paper filled up, so it is a relief to be allowed to relieve yourself here. The big brother of Baba Slim, who scores with his delicious pizza, is located at Houmt Souk's favourite place La Corniche. The pizza restaurant exists approximately since 3 years and is very popular among the inhabitants as also the tourists. Probably because the premises, the quality of the food and the staff have not changed until now. I have the feeling that the Baba Slim Burger shop will maintain its quality standards, too and I really wish that it will grow and prosper without loosing the pure and simple concept."
